Hi Everyone. Today I am going to talk about bag washing and cleaning. Now I know there are numerous products on the market for cleaning synthetics, but I’m going to show you a quick and cheap way of cleaning your handbag.
What you will need:
First you must prepare your handbag. Empty the contents of your bag and put them to one side. Once you have emptied your bag you can then pull the lining out from inside. Brush away any dirt or lint and remember to get in through all of the seams.
Now your bag is completely empty you can get started on cleaning. First find a clear flat surface, the dinning table or kitchen counter will do. Lay down your old towel and place your handbag on top. Spray your bag with the foaming spray. You can use non toxic carpet or multi purpose cleaner, I use a spray called ‘Multi’. This can be found at most supermarkets or hardware stores. Once you have covered the bag (and remember don’t be shy with the cleaner) wipe or rub away concentrating on the dirty parts of your bag. Flip your bag over and repeat. The same can be done for the lining. Once completed you may wish to wipe away some of the remaining residue left from the cleaning product. Simply wet your second cloth and wring out as much water so its left just slightly damp. Wipe the bag down. Finally, leave your bag in the hot water cupboard over night or dry with a blow dryer on medium to low heat.
